Full Synopsis
Every two weeks, workers Adam and Rodion leave their isolated base to retrieve a supply drop deep in the frozen wilderness. When a simple journey turns dangerous and an accident leaves Rodion injured, the pair are forced to abandon much of the supplies they came to collect. With the return journey growing more difficult and the clock at their base counting down, tensions between the two begin to rise.
Separated by a language barrier and increasingly strained by the consequences of Rodion’s mistake, Adam grows frustrated as their chances of making it back safely diminish. When Adam leaves the base alone on the next expedition, Rodion is left behind, uncertain of what has happened. As night falls and the storm intensifies, Adam returns empty-handed, leaving the two to decide their fate now that they have lost their supplies.
